Protein Structure Core Facility (PSCF)

The Protein Structure Core Facility operates in the department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, on the UNMC campus.  The facility performs protein sequencing, amino acid analysis, HPLC/UPLC, and Simple Western by size or charge on a fee-for-service basis.  It is located on the first floor of the Durham Research Center.

The equipment includes an Shimadzu PPSQ-33A protein sequencer, a Hitachi 8800 Amino Acid Analyzer,  and a Waters ACQUITY UPLC H-Class Biosystem.

The facility is partially supported by funds from the Nebraska Research Initiative.  Use of the facility is not limited to the University system.
