- Medical Marriages
The objective of this event is to give students an opportunity to hear from physician couples about how they have maintained healthy marriages along with their medical careers. The students are invited to ask questions and to begin to reflect upon and consider how they will be able to balance and maintain a healthy marriage along with their future medical careers.

Calling to Medicine
A first semester dinner/discussion on one’s calling to Medicine. Students, House Staff and Attendings will hear from a faculty keynote speaker followed by table discussion. What do you do to sustain your Calling?

- Lunch & Learns 2016-2017
The UNMC- College of Nursing - West Nebraska Division in Scottsbluff, in conjunction with Western Nebraska Community College (WNCC), are offering a once a month lunch presentation on various health topics throughout the academic year (September through April). Topics include: healthy eating, meal demonstrations, exercise, stress reduction, yoga, time management, etc. UNMC & WNCC staff, faculty and students are invited to bring their lunch (unless otherwise noted) and join us for these programs.

- Grand Rounds on Reflective Writing
Grand Rounds reviews both the available literature showing the value of reflective writing in patient care, stress reduction, burn-out prevention and treatment, and for discovering the greater human stories in medical experiences.
