Summary of Services

 

Employee Relations:

Employee Relations is responsible for and provides the following services:

  • Reward and Recognition, including the administration of the Gold U, Silver U and  People Are Everything as well as the annual Service Awards Dinner.
  • Employee Organizational Development, including the Re-Imagining U employee development program, as well as other developmental workshops and seminars.
  • Equity, Diversity and Inclusion education and activities.
  • Leaves of Absence, including the administration of Family Medical/Military Leave ("FMLA").
  • Reasonable Accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA")
  • University Policy and Procedure Interpretation and Training.
  • Federal and State Employment Law Compliance, including Affirmative Action and EEO.
  • Employee Relation Issues, including conflict resolution/problem solving, harassment/discrimination and performance management.
  • Facilitation of the Employee Grievance Process.
  • Administration of the Employee Satisfaction Survey, Exit Survey and New Employee Orientation.
  • Unemployment and Worker's Compensation.
