The Office of Continuing Interprofessional Development and Innovation at the College of Nursing is dedicated to advancing the University's mission by delivering top-notch continuing education and professional development. Our programs cater to nurses and other health care professionals in Nebraska and beyond.
We are committed to enhancing educational systems and platforms, with a focus on leveraging IT systems to enhance the educational experience, assess outcomes, and streamline program efficiencies. We envision continuing education to be at the forefront of dissemination and implementation research, examining new ways to effectively improve health care professional's performance through knowledge and skills acquisition. We create various forms of live and online simulation to create a learning atmosphere that will improve cognitive functioning as well as address how stress and emotional response affect these outcomes.
