Summer Undergraduate Research Program

Interested in the possibility of a research career and want to experience research for a summer? Apply the Summer Undergraduate Research Program at the Eppley Cancer Research Institute. 

This program offers hands-on biomedical research in a wide variety of cancer research labs. All SURP students are provided with a graduate student mentor, a faculty mentor and a staff mentor to support them. Graduate students from the Cancer Research graduate programs host a weekly cancer biology basics workshop for undergraduate students.

We require a paragraph summarizing your research interest. You will also be required to submit two letters of recommendation and an unofficial college transcript. Candidates will be offered conditional acceptance based off of these documents, official acceptance into the program will be made upon receipt of an official transcript.

The application is open Nov. 1 to Feb. 1.
