Faculty, Staff & Student Trainings
The Title IX Office facilitates training for all University of Nebraska Medical Center faculty, staff, and students.
As required by federal statutes and administrative regulations, the Office of the President and each Chancellor shall publicize and conduct ongoing programs for new students and employees and other members of the University community to promote awareness of the problems caused by sexual misconduct and to help prevent and attempt to reduce the risk of the occurrence of sexual misconduct.
Employee Bystander Intervention Training
This is a one-time, interactive 60-minute bystander intervention training for all UNMC faculty and staff. Through this training we hope you will be able to better understand effective bystander intervention, recognize warning signs and practice building health communities, and list interpersonal violence resources.

Student Sexual Misconduct & Bystander Intervention Training
This one-time time, interactive 90-minute, peer-led sexual misconduct and bystander intervention training for all UNMC students. Through this training we hope you will be able to better understand Title IX Policy, consent, sexual misconduct & reporting; recognize relationship dynamics and understand effective bystander intervention; and list interpersonal violence resources.

Annual Canvas Trainings
These two training courses must be completed annually in Canvas by all UNMC faculty, staff, and students.
