Urgent Dental Care at Reduced Costs
The UNMC College of Dentistry has opened a new urgent care dental clinic at the college’s home on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s East Campus at 4000 East Campus Loop South.
The urgent clinic has walk-in hours of 8-10 a.m. through the summer. Afternoon and evening hours are set to be added in the fall.
Urgent care visits will be billed at the same significantly reduced rate as the college’s general dental clinic. Learn about Lincoln clinic billing and insurance.
Stuart Lacey, DDS, is director of the urgent care clinic. Scout Lee, DDS, assistant professor of surgical specialties, will direct evening coverage.
UNMC College of Dentistry fourth-year students and residents volunteer to staff the clinic.
Call Ahead to Describe Symptoms
Patients are asked to call ahead at 402-472-0206 to describe their symptoms, so the clinic team can prepare for their visit. Patients will receive a focused exam to assess the emergency and immediate treatment to relieve pain or stabilize their condition.
