Providing Compassionate, Comprehensive
Dental Care for Adults and Children

At our college, compassionate, comprehensive dental care is provided by our dental and dental hygiene students under the guidance of our nationally recognized faculty. For more complex needs, care is delivered by our skilled postgraduate dental residents. We welcome patients of all ages and offer care at significantly reduced fees compared with regional dental practices.

In Lincoln, we also offer clinics for orthodontics and pediatric dental services.

Appointment Policy

We value your time and ask that you value ours. When you schedule an appointment with us, a student clinician and faculty member reserve that time exclusively for your care — and your commitment helps us provide the best possible experience for you and for other patients waiting to be seen.

Please give us at least 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. You can reach us by phone at 402-472-1333 during regular business hours.

We understand that life happens, but patients who miss appointments or cancel repeatedly without adequate notice (two or more times within a 12-month period) may no longer be able to receive care at our clinics. If that occurs, we are happy to help connect you with our faculty practice, another UNMC health care clinic, or a private dentist in the community.

A few things to know about your appointments:

Most appointments are a minimum of three hours. Because we are a teaching clinic, your care is thorough, personalized and supervised by experienced faculty — and that takes time.

If your appointment will be shorter than three hours, your provider will let you know when scheduling.

Extensive treatment needs may sometimes be better suited to our faculty practice or another care setting. If that applies to you, we will work with you to find the right fit.

We are grateful you chose us for your dental care and look forward to seeing you.
