Living Our Mission
Patient Care
The college traditionally provides more than $6.1 million of free and reduced fee care each year to underserved populations. With locations in Lincoln and Omaha, our students and trainees have the opportunity to work with a broad patient population.
Education
From our dentistry and dental hygiene programs to our six residencies and oral biology graduate programs, we offer outstanding faculty mentors, small class sizes and deep clinical experience. Our dentistry and dental hygiene students have options across our region for clinical rotations.
Research
Research in 2024-25 included cell signaling in skin biology, palatal fusion, oral and other cancers; dental materials research; digital dentistry; DNA damage and repair in cancer biology; Regenerative Medicine and Biomaterials; experimental treatment of periodontal disease; teledentistry in rural health; and oral health training and service.
