Christopher S. Wichman, PhD, joined UNMC in 2016 and serves as an associate professor in the Department of Biostatistics of the College of Public Health. He previously served as director of the biostatistics graduate program at UNMC.

He also was director of biostatistics at Creighton University after serving in the U.S. Navy, as a government contractor in engineering, and working as a law enformcement officer.

Research Interests

Dr. Wichman's current research is focused on detecting changes in closed networks using meta data. He is also interested in model misspecification in the presence of zero inflated counts, experimental design, meta-analysis, and social-network analysis.
