Aaron Yoder, PhD, joined UNMC in 2013, and serves as an associate professor in the Department of Environmental, Agricultural & Occupational Health in the College of Public Health. He also is an associate professor in the Department of Biological Systems Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

In addition, Dr. Yoder serves as research director on feedyard worker safety for the Central States Center for Agricultural Safety and Health at UNMC.

Previously, Dr. Yoder was an instructor i the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University in University Park, where he also had held a position as a graduate research assistant. He also was a graduate research assistant in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Research Interests
Dr. Yoder's overall research interest is to improve the health of workers in agriculture and related industries through science based research, product development and outreach. His specific interests are in the research and development of sound ergonomic and human factors principles and technologies that will lead to healthier and safer workers in agriculture and related industries through the reduction of hazards associated with these types of injuries.
