Program Highlights

Curriculum

Course material focuses on health status, health outcomes and health needs in special populations (for example, racial and ethnic minorities, children and women). Statistics related to these populations and cultural considerations are discussed throughout the curriculum to instill an awareness of the health differences in population groups. This orientation aims to equip you to address society's public health needs. An MPH program focuses on five academic domains of public health at its core: epidemiology, biostatistics, health administration, promotion of health, and environmental health. Beyond this base are concentrations that provide specialized education and training. Practice experiences with learning in the field prepare students to work toward addressing emerging health issues in their communities.

Earn Your Degree Online

The MPH degree can be completed entirely online in an asynchronous format. We offer online courses in the fall, spring and summer. Most online courses are delivered in weekly modules that require you to sign in and interact multiple times each week.
