Project ECHO
Project ECHO
Project ECHO, or Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes, is an innovative tele mentoring program designed to create virtual communities of learners. Project ECHO brings together healthcare providers and subject matter experts using video conferences, brief lecture presentations, and case-based or situation-based learning.
Moving Knowledge, Not Patients
Through telementoring, ECHO builds capacity and creates access to high-quality specialty care serving local communities.
Our hub and spoke knowledge-sharing networks create a learning loop:
- Community providers learn from specialists.
- Community providers learn from each other.
- Specialists learn from community providers as best practices emerge.
Doing More for More Patients
How Project Echo impacts all parts of the healthcare system.
