Valerie Shostrom joined UNMC in 2005 and is a statistician in the Department of Biostatistics of the College of Public Health. 

She previously served as a data analyst at MDS Pharma Services in, Lincoln, Nebraska, as a research instructo in the Department of Preventative and Societal Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center, and as a research scientist at Pfizer in Lee’s Summit, Missouri
