  • Improvement of physical activity and nutrition behaviors among children and adolescents for the prevention of cancer and other chronic conditions
  • Measurement of community and setting characteristics and their influence on preventive health behaviors
  • Whole-of-community interventions, particularly in rural communities
  • Local surveillance, including the collection, feedback, and use of data to inform population health improvement efforts
