Shireen S. Rajaram, PhD

Shireen S. Rajaram, PhD , is an associate professor in the Department of Health Promotion of the UNMC College of Public Health.

After joining UNMC in 2009, she served as director of the college's Center for Reducing Health Disparities.

Previously, Dr. Rajaram servd as chair of the Department of Sociology & Anthropology of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she also was a professor. She also was chair of the UNO sociology graduate programs committee.

Earlier, she was a teaching instructor of the Eastern Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky.
