Stephanie Morse, LIMHP, LMHP, LADC, is the Co-Director of BHECN Southwest. She is also the owner and operator of Platte Valley Counseling, LLC, in North Platte and has spent the majority of her career in private practice helping clients with mental health and substance use concerns. Along with her clinical work, Stephanie has played an active role in the community by being involved with organizations such as Through the Eyes of the Child and Communities for Kids–North Platte. Stephanie graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. After graduation, she worked with at-risk families and youth in a variety of roles, including direct care staff, case manager, and in-home community services, for five years. During that time, she pursued a Master of Education degree specializing in Community Counseling at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. After receiving her master’s degree in 2001, she became licensed through the State of Nebraska to provide mental health counseling.
