Ben Verdoorn, MPA
Ben Verdoorn joined BHECN as the ARPA Financial Analyst in July of 2023. In this role, Ben works with BHECN-ARPA awardees to help with invoicing, monitoring of project expenses and collecting information needed for financial reporting.
Ben came to BHECN after working as an accountant for PJ Morgan Real Estate/Property Management. Before that, Ben worked as supervisor of inmate records, accounting and property with the Douglas County Department of Corrections.
Ben has a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of South Dakota and a master’s in public administration degree from Bellevue University. In his free time, Ben collects vinyl records, watches live music and hangs out with his partner, Seth, and their many animals.
