Caitlyn Wayment, MPH
Caitlyn joined BHECN as the ARPA awards project coordinator in March 2023. She came to BHECN after three years at the Behavioral Health Workforce Research Center, a HRSA-funded research center which focuses on research and policy to enhance the national behavioral health workforce.
Caitlyn is a Colorado native who fell in love with Nebraska while obtaining her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and Spanish at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She holds a master in public health degree from the University of Michigan's School of Public Health Department of Health Behavior and Health Education.
Through her education and coursework, Caitlyn found a passion for behavioral health disparities, healthcare policy and delivery innovations, and interprofessional education and collaboration. When she’s not working, you can find Caitlyn skiing, in the kitchen, or spending time with her rescue dog Ollie.
