Meet the Associate Director
Iraklis I. Pipinos, MD., a professor in the UNMC Department of Surgery, serves as the center's associate director.
He also is a vascular surgeon at Nebraska Medicine and the Omaha VA Medical Center, where his clinical efforts focus on the surgical care of patients with arterial disease.
As a research scientist, Dr. Pipinos works with a team of clinicians, researchers, graduate students and technicians using state-of-the-art techniques to develop regenerative medicine strategies for patients suffering from peripheral artery disease.
