Paige Hardy, DNP, APRN, NNP-BC

Paige Hardy, DNP, APRN, NNP-BC is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in Omaha, Nebraska. Hardy earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2008 and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Creighton University in 2018. Hardy currently practices in the Newborn Intensive Care Units (NICU) at Children’s Nebraska and has previously worked in multiple NICUs across the Omaha area. Hardy dedicates most of her professional time to Nebraska’s statewide high-risk NICU follow-up program, the TIPS Clinic (Tracking Infant Progress Statewide), where she serves as an advanced practice provider.

Hardy's clinical perspective has been deeply shaped by personal experience. Hardy's son was born extremely premature in 2004, followed by the premature birth of twins at 32 weeks in 2010. Through these experiences, she and her family have navigated the complexities of caring for a medically fragile child, the importance of early intervention, individualized education programs (IEPs), and services for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Hardy credits this journey as the driving force behind her passion for improving outcomes for medically fragile infants after NICU discharge. Her professional interests include Autism Spectrum Disorder in premature infants, early motor development from birth to preschool, and promoting equitable access to high-quality care for all children and families. In her free time, she enjoys being with family and friends, staying active, and taking her dog for long walks
