Professional Bio

Rangel-Pacheco joined MMI as a predoctoral intern in the Behavioral Pediatrics and Integrated Care track within the MMI Psychology department. Prior to joining the MMI team, she received clinical training in school, outpatient mental health, juvenile detention, and hospital settings. Clinically, she enjoys working collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to help children, adolescents, and their families reach treatment goals related to internalizing concerns like anxiety and depression as well as disruptive behaviors. She has an interest in working with gender-expansive/gender diverse youth, adolescents with chronic health conditions like chronic pain and diabetes, and youth with neurodevelopmental conditions. Rangel-Pacheco uses a collaborative approach to therapy grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and parent training, tailored to meet families’ needs and values.
