Allison “Alli” Morton, PhD, (she/her) is an assistant professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Munroe-Meyer Institute and a licensed psychologist in MMI's Department of Psychology. She earned her PhD in clinical psychology from Texas Tech University, completed her predoctoral internship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Munroe-Meyer Institute.
As a licensed clinical psychologist, Morton currently provides patient care at Village Pointe – Dundee Pediatrics through MMI’s behavioral pediatrics and integrated primary care program. Her clinical and research interests center around the integration of behavioral health in primary care as well as the implementation and dissemination of evidence-based practices with children and adolescents, particularly in relation to trauma. Morton has presented several talks and presentations at local, regional, and national conferences. She is the Nebraska team lead for the Complex Trauma Training Consortium, a national training initiative with SAHMSA, and is Co-PI on a grant about adapting Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
