Madeline Wadington, PhD

Madeline Wadington, PhD (she/her) is an assistant professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Munroe-Meyer Institute and a licensed psychologist in MMI’s Department of Psychology. Wadington received her doctorate in school psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison). She completed her predoctoral internship at the Boys Town Center for Behavioral Health and postdoctoral fellowship at the School Mental Health Collaborative within the Wisconsin Center for Education Research at UW-Madison. In her postdoctoral studies, Wadington supported the development and evaluation of school-based social, emotional, and behavioral interventions.
Wadington provides individual and family therapy services within the school setting and consults with school teams to support implementation of evidence-based mental and behavioral health systems. Wadington’s practice guides her research, focused on supporting schools in adopting, implementing, and sustaining responsive, evidence-based practices.
