Dr. Carrie Hoarty is an Assistant Professor in the Department of General Internal Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She trained in a joint Pediatrics and Internal Medicine residency program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where she subsequently completed her Geriatric fellowship. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics with the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as Pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Hoarty received her MBA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is the Medical Director of the Midtown Internal Medicine residency continuity clinic and of the Student Health Clinic at UNMC.

Dr. Hoarty finds fulfillment caring for all adult patients, but especially older individuals with geriatric syndromes as well as those with special developmental needs.  She enjoys her husband and children, coffee, gardening and running very slowly.
