Adanda Chuku, MD is a general pediatrician and assistant professor in the department of clinical services at the Munroe-Meyer Institute of the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Chuku is passionate about supporting children and families, particularly those navigating developmental, behavioral, and mental health concerns. Prior to joining the Munroe-Meyer Institute, Chuku cared for children across a range of clinical settings with experiences that deepened her interest in developmental and behavioral pediatrics, child mental health and child advocacy. These experiences shaped her commitment to thoughtful, family-centered care that recognizes each child’s unique strengths, needs and circumstances, and brought her to MMI in August 2026.
Chuku is excited to be part of a multidisciplinary community dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and everyone in the community. She enjoys exploring new places, spending time with family and friends, and discovering the food and culture or her new home in Omaha.
