Healthcare Provider Training for IDD

This study examines an online interprofessional training program designed to improve providers’ ability to care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Conditions to Participate

You may be eligible for this study if you:

Are 19 years of age or older.
Work in, or are training for, a health care role involving interactions with individuals with disabilities.

More Details

Enhancing care for people with IDD requires a collaborative approach across settings, disciplines, and care partners. The purpose of this study is to examine an online interprofessional training program designed to improve providers’ ability to care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The study will examine whether participation in the training and simulation activities is associated with improvements in learners’ performance during simulated care encounters and increased confidence in providing care for individuals with IDD and working in interprofessional settings.
