Janice Luethje is a clinical assistant professor and board-certified family nurse practitioner. She graduated from UNMC's accelerated BSN program in 2018 and worked as an RN in a busy emergency department before graduating with her doctor of nursing practice degree with a family nurse practitioner focus in 2024. She also worked as a graduate assistant for UNMC while completing her DNP program, during which time a passion for guiding and supporting students developed.

Dr. Luethje teaches in the BSN program and also practices as a family nurse practitioner in a family practice clinic. She joined the faculty at UNMC college of nursing in 2024.
