Evidence elevates care
UNMC nurse scientists have produced solid evidence to improve patient care. We focus on promoting health by adopting healthy lifestyle habits and self-management. We design interventions to reduce symptoms and improve quality of life in patients with chronic conditions. We examine trends in development of complications secondary to medical treatment and test methods to reduce them, including through the use of technology. We strive to promote and develop the role of the nurse on the health care team… and to deliver extraordinary care.
