Melissa Florell joined the UNMC-CON faculty in 2018. She received her Master of Science, Nursing with an emphasis in Policy, Management, and Leadership from Yale University in 2010 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UNMC in 2003. Melissa is a PhD student at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus. She is a native of rural, northeast Nebraska and is passionate about rural health and nurse engagement in health policy development.
