Biography
Dr. Heidi Keeler, received her baccalaureate degree in nursing from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA, and her doctoral degree in nursing from The University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Keeler’s clinical experiences include adult medical surgical nursing, in acute, primary care, and long term care settings, and community population health nursing.
Dr. Keeler’s areas of clinical research interest revolve around improving overall educational systems and platforms, concentrating on how IT systems can improve educational experience, outcomes evaluation collection and analysis, and improve overall program efficiencies. Dr. Keeler envisions clinical translational research and dissemination and implementation research as essential to maintaining competencies and sustainability of the future healthcare workforce, and aims to examine new ways to effectively improve clinical performance through innovative knowledge and skills acquisition modalities.
