42-year-old female presents with this asymptomatic lesion.

History of the lesion:

  • Lesion has grown over a few years.
  • It was previously removed maybe a couple of years ago.

Oral examination:

  • 9 x 5 x 2 mm well defined pink nodule with smooth surface located on the facial gingival margin of #9.

Differential diagnosis includes:

  • Peripheral odontogenic fibroma
  • Pyogenic granuloma
  • Peripheral ossifying fibroma
  • Metastatic carcinoma
  • Peripheral fibroma
