Professional Bio
Swiger is a Social Worker with the Care Coordination Program at the Munroe-Meyer Institute, where she helps families navigate next steps after evaluation and diagnosis by connecting them with meaningful support and resources. Originally from Florida, Swiger now lives in Nebraska and has successfully adapted from beaches to blizzards, though she still misses palm trees.
Swiger brings extensive experience across multiple levels of care. She has worked as a behavioral specialist in both partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient settings with children and adolescents experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, and other co-occurring mental health needs within the context of autism. She has also facilitated adventure-based mental health programs for veterans and their loved ones with a large national nonprofit and previously served as a child abuse investigator for the Florida Department of Children and Families.
Combining her clinical social work background with traditional case management skills, Swiger is excited to assist patients and their caregivers at MMI.
