Professional Bio

Elson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Business Management from Clarkson College. She worked in the Radiology administration for UNMC for four years and discovered her passion for working with children who have intellectual and developmental disabilities through a volunteer program she was partnered​ with. She went on to complete a Master of Science degree from a joint program between the University of Nebraska Omaha and the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Applied Behavior Analysis, where she gained clinical experience in the Pediatric Feeding Disorders program. Currently, she specializes in the assessment and treatment of pediatric feeding disorders. She is a passionate advocate for access to high-quality care for children and families from all backgrounds, and she also supports the athletes in Special Olympics by volunteering at sporting events.
