Professional Bio

Kostic received a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2006. During this time, she completed an internship in crime analysis with the Palm Bay Police Department in Palm Bay, Florida. Kostic pursued graduate training through the Psychology Department at Fort Hays State University where she obtained her Master of Science and Education Specialist degrees in School Psychology. As part of her training, Kostic completed a practicum and an internship with local school districts. 

Kostic’s professional career has been centered around psychoeducational evaluations, intervention and resource planning, social-emotional skill building, and supporting special education processes. Prior to joining the MMI team, Kostic was a school psychologist in various school districts in Nebraska. She has supported and led several district teams focusing on academics, behavioral support, social skills, and mental health. Kostic has developed staff resources, facilitated professional development, and provided supervision for school psychology interns. Clinically, Kostic is interested in the assessment and treatment of autism spectrum disorder, early intervention, parent training, and cognitive behavioral therapies.
