Professional Bio
Saxer joined the MMI team after working in an intensive care unit in Omaha, where she cared for patients with complex and critical medical conditions. This experience strengthened her clinical assessment skills and her ability to support patients and families during challenging and high-stress situations.
At MMI, Saxer’s work focuses on supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through compassionate, inclusive, and coordinated care. Through personal experiences with individuals with IDD, she developed a strong passion for serving this population. Clinically, she is interested in improving healthcare access, supporting families, and addressing the unique medical and developmental needs of individuals with IDD. Saxer is committed to a holistic and family-centered approach that promotes dignity, understanding, and quality of life for every patient.
