Mary Engelbert, BSN, RN is a Registered Nurse in the Department of Clinical Services at the Munroe-Meyer Institute.

Professional Bio

Engelbert's love for caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities began when she worked as a paraprofessional for a small, local, non-profit company here in Omaha. From there, her passion for the community unfolded, and Engelbert grounded her career in the specialty.

Engelbert joined the MMI team in 2025. Her professional career has been centered around pediatric nursing care specializing in primary care, hospice care, and private duty home care. Engelbert demonstrates profound dedication to the IDD population and hopes to leverage her clinical care and expertise to provide holistic, research-based, and dignified support to patients and their families.
