Andrea Zyla, MOT, OTR/L is an occupational therapist in the Occupational Therapy Department at UNMC's Munroe-Meyer Institute.

Professional Bio

Zyla joined the MMI school‑based occupational therapy team in 2026 after working in an outpatient pediatric setting supporting children with diverse developmental and sensory needs.

Zyla is passionate about individualized, advocacy‑driven intervention. Her focus includes supporting students with autism, sensory processing differences, and other special needs through accessible strategies that enhance regulation, participation, and confidence throughout the school day.

Zyla provides patient care services at the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute Department of Occupational Therapy.
