Professional Bio
Howell (she/her) joined the Munroe-Meyer Institute for her predoctoral internship in Behavioral Pediatrics and Integrated Care and is a current postdoctoral fellow in Primary and Integrated Care.
Clinically, Howell is interested in the integration of behavioral health in primary care, treatment for common pediatric concerns, and behavior parent training. She is also currently working with Omaha Public Schools, consulting with school teams on their functional behavioral assessment and behavior intervention plan processes for individual students. Howell's research interests include primary care integration, behavior parent training, the use of ABA in psychology, and effective intervention practices in outpatient settings and schools.
Howell provides patient care services through the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute Department of Psychology.
