Amaya M. Rocheleau, MS, BCBA

Amaya M. Rocheleau, MS, BCBA is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for the Department of Specialized Behavior Intervention at UNMC's Munroe-Meyer Institute.

Professional Bio

Rocheleau is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst currently working in the Specialized Behavior Intervention Department, where clinical work focuses on the assessment and treatment of severe and challenging behavior using evidence-based, behavior analytic approaches. Prior to beginning doctoral training in Applied Behavior Analysis, Rocheleau worked in the Specialized Behavior Intervention Department as a Registered Behavior Technician while completing a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Rocheleau’s professional practice emphasizes data-based decision making, functional assessment, and treatment development to improve meaningful outcomes for individuals with complex behavioral needs. Rocheleau’s research interests center on the assessment and treatment of challenging behavior, with a focus on advancing clinically relevant, applied research that represents the scientist-practitioner model.
