Professional Bio
Gaebler has been part of the MMI Speech Pathology team since 1990. During that time, she has functioned as lead speech language pathologist, interim department director and associate director of inpatient services. Gaebler currently serves as an outpatient Speech Language Pathologist and Supervisor of speech pathology staff involved in multidisciplinary clinics for Nebraska Medicine. Her areas of interest include evaluation and treatment of progressive neurologic speech, language and swallowing disorders, cognitive-communication disorders and Head & Neck cancer. Gaebler is the facilitator of the Primary Progressive Aphasia Communication group which meets for 8 weekly sessions several times throughout the year.
Gaebler provides patient care services at the Nebraska Medicine multidisciplinary clinics, delivered through UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute Department of Speech-Language Pathology.
