Professional Bio

Mattley joined the Speech-Language Pathology department as a clinical fellow shortly after earning her master's degree in June of 2026. During her graduate training, Mattley gained valuable experiences across the lifespan and in a variety of settings. As a part of her clinical rotations, she completed her medical externship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center providing outpatient therapy services to adult populations. Mattley's clinical interests include providing services in the areas of speech, language, cognition, and dysphagia for adult populations with acquired and progressive neurological disorders. She also completes Modified Barium Swallow Studies, is the lead Speech Therapist in the Parkinson’s Clinic and works closely with the Physical and Occupational Therapists in the Concussion Clinic at Nebraska Medicine.
