Professional Bio
Althouse has been with the Monroe-Meyer Institute since 2015. Clinically, she provides individual and group services at RiteCare Clinic in Hastings, Nebraska, including Project ImPACT Parent Training, Feeding Therapy utilizing the S.O.S. Approach to Feeding, and treatment for Childhood Apraxia of Speech and motor speech disorders using Dynamic Temporal Tactile Cuing, and Prompts for Restructuring Oral Phonetic Targets. She also provides community-based group Speech Therapy services during the Tiny Talkers Club and social skills intervention with the Social Squad, a summer therapy program.
Other interests include Augmentative and Alternative Communication, pediatric swallowing, and she is FEES-trained (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing).
