Leah Reeve-Mendoza started with the Munroe-Meyer Institute in 2025 as a part-time clinician in the Lincoln, Nebraska RiteCare Clinic. Prior to joining the MMI team, Reeve-Mendoza started her career in 2018 as an outpatient clinician at ChildServe in Iowa, serving children birth-21 with varied speech and language diagnoses. In 2021, she became a clinical supervisor of a team of speech-language pathologists providing speech and language services. Reeve-Mendoza later provided inpatient and outpatient speech-language therapy services at the Boone County Hospital in Iowa from 2024-2025.

Reeve-Mendoza’s clinical work focuses on pediatric speech-language therapy services, specifically to preschool-aged children. As a Spanish/English bilingual speaker, Reeve-Mendoza specializes in providing intervention to children in their primary or home language, as well as providing training and support to parents. She also has clinical interests and experience working with AAC and neurodiverse clients.
