Professional Bio
Smith joined the Speech-Language Pathology department as a clinical fellow in July of 2025. Smith completed her pre-externship and medical externship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center while in graduate school. Prior to joining UNMC, Smith worked in a research lab at Boys Town National Research Hospital. Clinically, Smith is interested in acquired brain injuries, disorders of consciousness, augmentative and alternative communication, and provider training.
