Professional Bio
Norton works at the RiteCare Clinic Hastings where she serves a variety of children of different ages and diagnoses. Norton joined the team in 2019 after previous clinical experiences in acute and subacute rehab, long-term care, and both adult and pediatric outpatient services. Norton’s clinical service focus on severe speech sound disorders, specifically Childhood Apraxia of Speech, pediatric feeding and swallowing, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, and parent-training within the early intervention population.
To expand community outreach and clinical services, Norton is the co-developer of Tiny Talkers Club, a toddler group for children 18-months to three-years-old and RiteCare social groups for children 6-9-years-old and 10-13-years-old. She participates in multi-clinic collaboration to provide education and resources for patients Childhood Apraxia of Speech locally and state-wide, as well as participation in a pediatic feeding group. Norton is passonate about expanding services to rural Nebraska and provides intervention both in person and telehealth.
