Angela Johnson, EdD, RN

Dr. Angela Johnson, Ed.D, RN, serves as the Assistant Dean of the Northern Division at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Morningside College in 2010 and completed a Master’s in Nursing Leadership at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2015. In 2021, she received her Doctorate in Nursing Education from Bryan College of Health Sciences. Dr. Johnson’s doctoral research examined the key components of academic coaching programs and their impact on nursing student success. Her ongoing work as an assistant professor reflects her commitment to advancing nursing education through innovative teaching, scholarship, and a continued focus on student achievement and support.
