Angela Johnson, EdD, RN

Dr. Angela Johnson graduated from Morningside College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2010. Her clinical experience includes working as a registered nurse in critical access at Sanford Health in Vermillion, SD. She completed her Masters in Nursing Leadership and Education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2015. Dr. Johnson completed her Doctorate in Nursing Education at Bryan College of Health Sciences in 2021. Her dissertation explored the various components of academic coaching programs and their effectiveness in promoting nursing students' success. Dr. Johnson continues her mission to enhance nursing student success at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing in her current role as an assistant professor.
