Harleigh Kohlman received her Associate’s degree in Nursing in 2014 from Judson College. She started her career in a critical access hospital where she worked in medical- surgical nursing, pediatrics, postpartum, geriatrics, emergency care, and intensive care. From there she found her passion for labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2021) and then completed her Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in nursing education (2023) from Nebraska Methodist College. While furthering her education, she worked at a clinic as a triage nurse, pod nurse, chronic care manager, performed Medicare visits, and evaluated quality care. Ms. Kohlman transitioned into education in 2023 at UNMC College of Nursing- Kearney Division. She is passionate about helping students understand how to provide compassionate and quality care, while understanding their unique abilities in their professional life.
