Jenelle Kolterman MSN, RN
Jenelle (Jennie) Kolterman is an Instructor at the College of Nursing on the Norfolk Campus. She received her Licensed Practical Nursing degree in 1990 from Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE, an Associate Degree in Nursing from the University of South Dakota in 1993 and completed her BSN from Colorado Technical University at Colorado Springs, CO in 2013. She was awarded a MS degree in Nursing Education from Bryan College of Health Sciences in Lincoln NE in 2016. Ms. Kolterman has worked a variety of area’s in her nursing career, including a Medical-Surgical unit, Emergency Department and as a House Supervisor for a rural Level III designated trauma hospital. She also worked as an adjunct Clinical Nursing Instructor for Northeast Community College prior to working for UNMC. She continues to be a Certificate Emergency Nurse accredited by the Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification (ABSNC) and a member of ENA and Sigma Theta Thau.
