Dr Melissa Langenberg’s background started out obtaining her BA in biochemistry, molecular biology, and health systems at Hastings College. She then returned to school and completed the Accelerated RN course at UNMC-Kearney. After graduation, she began working acute care in pediatrics, PICU, PCU, and became stroke certified, taking various neurotrauma patients. She then decided she wanted to pursue a higher degree and graduated from UNMC with her Doctorate in Family Practice. Throughout her graduate degree, she worked in infusion as well as a graduate assistant for two years working with first year and accelerated nursing students. Post-graduation, she accepted a position as a clinical assistant professor.
